Hey gang,
Yep, me too. My speeds have been slow since Saturday. I'm downloading from Archive 24. Today, my FTP stalls at "connected, requesting file". As of right now, 8:39 PM EDT, I'm getting nothing. NADA.
Hope it clears up by tonight.

I am having problems any way I try to upload. Getting about 100 bytes per second averaged over several minutes. Ugly.

My smartftp just says it's asleep on downloads. but the last two days have seen seen speeds slower than crap. This must be on the servers end, is this because of the holiday? Glad it's not just me. Shalom!with the Music!

we've been badly hacked and had to turn off many
access points and webservers.

unfortunately, all audio shows right now are not "findable" in our cluster and thus, no downloads for now.

we are working on it!

I had speeds of over 120 KB/s early this morning (6:00 am - EST). Since around 2:00 pm (EST) I have had virtually no download speeds. Hovering around 0.00 KB/s.

do we know where the source problem is or is it just high volume of traffic?

Thanks for fixing the problems. Hackers? Where's the sanity in hacking the archive?

I was having serious issues trying to upload yesterday...speed was bouncing between nothing and 12KBps for most of the day. Late in the afternoon something seemed to clear up and I was able to push a solid 80KBps to the archive (my max DSL upload speed). But yes, I noticed problems in connectivity with the Internet Archive yesterday.

thanks, i meant to say KBps but wow, on wed it was lightning fast. must be due to the amount of traffic because of the holiday. right now it was moving at 0.00 KBps
